Tere mere darmiyan

“तेरे मेरे दरमियाँ” is a poem on crush or should I say one sided love.

Each one of us falls in love at one time or the other. Some people are very lucky who get a chance to spend their whole life with their loved ones. On the other hand there are some persons who love someone a lot, but are never able to express their love in front of them due to any x, y, z reason.

This poetry is based on that kind of unsaid love and also leaves me with a question, that if unsaid love was so intense what would have happened if that love would have got it words.

ऐसी कौन सी मन्नत मांगो कि, मेरे दिल की अमावस ईद हो जाए,
तू आए मेरे सामने और मेरे होठों से वो बात निकल जाए...

कहने को तो लाखों शब्द होंगे, कह पाए तुम से, वो दिल की दासता तो कोई बात हो,
होने को सब है पास मेरे, तू साथ हो तो कोई बात हो...

जज़्बात मोहताज़ नहीं इस जमाने के रिवाजों के,
ठहरे हुए है वो, इंतजार मे, तेरे अल्फाजों के...

तेरा सामने होना, मेरे रूह को महका देता है,
कुछ कहे बिना ही, सब कुछ बयां कर देता है...

कभी झुकी पलकें भी कई सवाल पूछ लेती है,
और तेरा मुस्कुराना, अनजाने में कोई पहेली सुलझा देता है...

अरमान बन गये हो, तुम मेरे पहचान बन गये हो,
खाव्हिशो की सुबह, ख्वाबों की शाम बन गये हो...

बस अल्फाज़ो की ही कमी है तेरे मेरे दरमियाँ,
कुछ ना हो के भी, सब कुछ है, तेरे मेरे दरमियाँ...
